The Grafton to Inverell is known as " Australia's toughest Classic" and it never fails at keeping its promise. It is a race full of passion! Passion from all levels of ability among the cyclists, passion from the spectators, from the organisers, from the volunteers. It feels like the scenery envelopes it's cyclist for the day and encourages all to get home. The mountain puffs up its ego and delivers an excillerating race to the summit and beyond. Not often are C graders offered a finish as spectatular as a professional cyclist!!

It is a race you must experience!

The women are offered a day of racing with just the gals! From the Celtic Captial of Australia, a fast and tactical race takes place. And it has it's fair share of exciting climbs as it makes it's way thru the New England landscape and onto the Sapphire City. There are 2 races for the women, one for the A grade women as they jostle for the deciding NRS points for the year and some very healthy prize money!! The other Celtic Classic de Femme is offered at a shorter distance of 68km.
